As per the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, they have started this service with joint hands with the Cordelia cruises. They have signed an agreement with the company for the promotion of this service. All the responsibilities of the advertisement are on Cordelia cruises so that they can reach the people in no time using all their effective means of promotion. Previously the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has started different kinds of services along with railway travel booking. You can book flights, buses through the website, and now they are entering into the cruise service as well. According to the authorities of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, this is going to be another service under the umbrella of IRCTC services.
The cruise will sail through the coastline of the country, and its incredible value compared to how expensive it is the mediterranean, and it will touch almost every internationally recognized tourism destination of India like Goa, Diu, Kochi, and Lakshadweep along with Sri Lanka. The cruise is going to initiate its journey on 18th September that is Friday of this month. The base of operation will be Mumbai and in the first phase, the cruise will sail through the Indian destinations. Next year the base will be transferred to Chennai and then onwards, it will also cover the international destinations as well. Famous destinations like Colombo, gall, Jaffna, and Trincomalee are on the list of international destinations.
Though Cordelia is going to initiate the first of this type of cruise service in a joint venture with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, they already have the experience to operate cruising in Indian destinations like Mumbai to Goa, Mumbai to Diu, Kochi to Lakshadweep, and more others.
